Me and my ex girlfriend are about to have a baby i will go into boot camp for the army before the baby is born. right now i just work at whataburger, Wanting to know how much i will need to pay. i live in texas |

Child support will be based on what you and the child's mother aer earning when your child support order is made. Once your paternity is established, the baby will qualify you for extra pay to help pay your child support. The military requires service members to be responsible for their children as it is the honorable thing to do.
Contact your recruiter for a better idea what your pay rate and BAH may be after the baby comes.
