I don't think it would be advisable to quit your medications. Your doctor could tell you in more details what to expect because he or she knows the extent of your illness.
However, there are side effects you could expect. I don't know exactly when they would start or the severity, but it would compromise your health.
The side effects could include feeling cold, fatigue, depression, blood pressure fluctuations, memory problems, weight gain, muscle weakness and pain, hair loss, and other health risks. Basically, any symptom of hypothyroidism could return during that 3 months.
Also, it is never advisable to stop thyroid medication abruptly. Your thyroid has become accustomed to the medicine and certainly will not be able to make up the difference.
You should definitely talk to your doctor about this. Any of those side effects would be detrimental at any time, but especially under the rigors of boot camp. Your health is too important.

Three months without your medicine could seriously affect your health. Having hypothyroidism with no medication can leave you feeling exhausted, with insomnia, weight gain, fogginess, heart palpitations, hair loss, etc. The list goes on and on, and those are definitely symptoms that you wouldn't want to have to battle while going through boot camp.

NOT A GOOD IDEA. Boot camp is difficult and you need to have a long of energy and perseverance, which will be greatly decreased if you stop for thyroid medications. You might not be able to make it through boot camp, and certainly would not do as well as you would if you continued your thyroid meds as prescribed.
Why would you even consider this?
