Marine Corp boot camp lasts 3 weeks.

Boot camp consists of intense training and can be broken down into the following phases:

Receiving Phase (3 Days): This phase begins the moment recruits get on the bus. They are give a hair cut, issued their M16 service rifle and issued their uniform. They spend this phase doing paperwork and receiving vaccines and medical tests.

Phase One (4 Weeks): The purpose of this phase is to psychologically break down recruits. They spend the majority of this time learning about the Marine Corp and ridding themselves of civilian habits.

Phase Two (4 Weeks): During this phase, recruits learn field skills, including marksmanship. They are also taught water survival skills.

Phase Three (3 Weeks): This phase tests the skills that the recruits have acquired. They learn to fire a rifle in realistic combat situations, undergo Basic Warrior Training and take part in a final drill competition.

The Crucible (54 Hours): This intense event is the final test and the culmination of boot camp. Recruits are broken into squad and faced with physical and psychological challenges they must complete to move forward. And all of this must be done with little sleep.

Graduation (1 Week): This is the final stage. They've undergo a final inspection, visit their families and graduate!

13 weeks. The three weeks or so is rough, but after that, your body is used to the stress, your mind relaxes, and you are living meal to meal. I loved it, I been in 4 yrs, and Im trying to be a drill instructor now! Good luck!
