16 yr old son facing serious charges I have a 16 yr. old son currently serving 44.4 months for armed robbery charges in pinellias county florida.he was charged as an adult and given y.o.status and the judge recomended a boot camp program. but in hillsborough county florida he had been in court proceedings for other charges in juvenial court the charges are 1 count armed robbery9(HE STOLE A GUN) 1 count burg of unoccupied dwelling and 2 counts of dealing in stolen prop .these charges have already been sent to adult court and sent back to juvenial court. will they now remain in juvenial court and can he get these charges to run congrouent to what time he is doing now please try to answer me i am going crazy . the laywer we had is no help thanks a very worried mom and dad |

If the charges has been returned to juvenile court - that is where they will remain. As for the sentence to run concurrent - that will be a decision for the Court. Your attorney should speak with the prosecutor in Hillsbourough County and discuss such a sentence. The Judge will usually go by the prosecutors recommendation. As long as its in the same State it is possible.
You need to warn your son as an adult - 3 felonies consititutes habital criminal - thus can be given a life sentence even if the felony is a minor felony.
